Maldives: Linen, Salt, and Still Water

The Maldives asks you to slow down before you even arrive.
Heat and salt are hard on clothes, which is why the islands are the truest test of a travelling wardrobe. What survives is what is honest: linen, fine cotton, a half-lined jacket that breathes.
We build our resort pieces unstructured — no canvas, no shoulder pad, nothing to trap the heat against the body. The result folds flat into a bag and shrugs off the journey, arriving ready rather than recovered.
Keep the palette to sand, chalk and the palest blue. Against that much water, anything louder is simply noise.
