The Weave: Green Weather, Grey Light

The Weave: Green Weather, Grey Light

Where cloth comes from — and what that asks of the way you pack.

Ireland is where you remember that cloth begins as weather. The damp, the green, the low grey light — it is all in the yarn long before it is ever on a loom.

Our summer jacketings borrow that logic: woven open enough to breathe, structured enough to shrug off a passing shower. A linen-silk that takes changing light the way the hills do, without complaint.

Travel here in something you can layer — an overshirt under a soft jacket, a scarf that earns its place by evening. The weather will turn four times before lunch. Dress for all of it, lightly.
